As an artist, I have a deep appreciation for the use of color and shapes in design. I was impressed by the use of both at an Adidas Warehouse Sale in Oaks, Philadelphia that my husband found in the paper a few weeks back.

This was my first visit to a “warehouse” sale which took place at an Expo Center and presented plenty of options for those looking for both sports and leisure fashions. I love the brightly colored high-tops for biking around the city and the comfortable track-suits for travel, running errands, or over yoga clothes. I’m far from a sneaker junky, wearing the same pair for about ten years before I invested in a new pair, but I do love the design aesthetic of combining bright color and interesting shapes to functional attire.
I did indulge in one pair of sneakers for walking around the city and bike riding and one track suit for flying and weekend chill-time with the husband. Our motto is to live simply so for every item that is brought into the house, a similar item is donated or sold at the flea market. We also like to say, treat yourself, don’t cheat yourself!
The Adidas Warehouse Sale took place at the The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA on February, 24, 2013.
