New Product: The Aztec Necklace
I was very excited to discover this gorgeous necklace while buying for Heirloom in New York’s fashion district recently. The turquoise shades are very on-trend at the moment and pop nicely against the brass color of the necklace. This piece is extremely versatile and would work well with a sophisticated evening dress or against a grey t-shirt paired with blue jeans. This royal necklace is sold with the matching earrings.
Price: $12.
Today’s mantra: being myself is my path.

I am gearing up to open my store Heirloom!! So much to do, so much to do! The main focus at the moment is to build the initial inventory. To ensure that I stay on track, I am eliminating distractions – including signing off from my beloved Twitter handle Ajualuv. Oh yes, I am so sincere. 😉 Focus and dedication are the mantras of the day.

Magazine Detailed Clothing Rack
I bought the toppers for the clothing racks that we use for our traveling store Heirloom second-hand. So they were a bit scuffed up and quite frankly, bland. This week I decided to collage the toppers to add a bit of style to our market set-up. I am excited to see our customers’ reactions to our new look.
Today’s mantra: creation is life.

My Dream for Heirloom
While running around NYC yesterday scouting out products for the next market, I spotted a lovely boutique truck called Nomad. Nomad is exactly what I envision as my next step for Heirloom. I just love the freedom such a traveling store gives you to sell products in whatever market you desire. Brilliant idea! So, I’m putting it out to the Universe, to my Angels, Ancestors and Guides – my prayer is to have a beautiful and successful Heirloom boutique truck. Let’s do it! Amen-Ra!

Color and Shape at Adidas
As an artist, I have a deep appreciation for the use of color and shapes in design. I was impressed by the use of both at an Adidas Warehouse Sale in Oaks, Philadelphia that my husband found in the paper a few weeks back.
