From the Organizer: “The Uhuru Health Festival will be a FREE, all-day event featuring health and exercise workshops, live music, dance, food giveaways, 100 + flea market vendors and guest speakers including African People’s Education and Defense Fund (APEDF) President Ona Zene’ Yeshitela.”

We just wanted to give a huge thank you shout out to Uhuru Furniture and Collectibles for another amazing year. Uhuru Flea Market is our favorite vending space because of the beautiful vibes created by the other vendors, customers, and of course the organizers. We are so grateful to Ali, Tiffany, Opa, Joe, Harris, Ruby, Janus, Moody, Cate, and all of those integral to making the Uhuru Flea Market a grand success. Heirloom will be vending tomorrow at the Uhuru Flea Market and Book Fair in Clark Park from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is a special event where authors will be selling and presenting their books. Heirloom Bohemian Boutique will be offering our new line of chakra teas. There is a very limited number of this product so please come early to purchase these beautiful creations. We will also have at our tent healthy, organic tea blends, metaphysical tools such as crystals and tarot, cultural and vintage books, bohemian clothing and jewelry and exotic home goods. Uhuru Flea Market will feature two local vendors each weekend during the holiday season at the Uhuru Furniture Store. Heirloom will be spotlighted on December 9 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Due to limited space we will have fewer items than usual. However, as always, we will showcase amazing, high quality items for all self-proclaimed bohemians, hippies, indigo and star children, spiritualists, groovy chics, and out-of-sight fellas. Tomorrow, Heirloom will be sharing a stall at the Uhuru Flea Market with the fabulous Soap Muffin on-line natural soap store. I am excited for our first collab and am looking forward to sharing Heirloom’s products from our Ascension Essentials Botanica line (pictures soon!!) with the Uhuru Flea Market crowd. Heirloom’s traveling thrift boutique will be returning to its old stomping ground at Clark Park on Saturday, June 28th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the Uhuru Flea Market. We will be featuring the following items:
